RBC Life Sciences' 2008 Net Sales Increase 13 Percent

RBC Life Sciences, Inc., a provider of proprietary nutritional supplements, wound care and pain management products, announced today that 2008 net sales increased 13 percent year over year as the company continued its domestic and international growth.

The company reported net sales of $30.4 million for the year ended December 31, 2008, compared to $27 million during the same period in 2007. It also reported net earnings of $1.62 million, or $0.07 per diluted share, in 2008 compared to net earnings of $1.69 million, or $0.08 per diluted share, in 2007.

"In 2008, RBC Life Sciences continued the surge in growth that the company witnessed in 2007, when the firm produced record-setting earnings," said President and CEO John W. Price. "Sales generated by our international licensees grew 18 percent year over year while sales generated by our medical products brand, MPM Medical, Inc., grew 41 percent during that time. This growth is occurring at the same time that we are beginning to see good gains in our domestic, independent sales force."

RBC Life Sciences Names Veteran Strategic Growth Leader, Robert Kaiser, to the Company's Board of Directors

RBC Life Sciences, a leading global provider of evidence-based nutritional supplements and personal care products, has named strategic growth veteran Robert A. Kaiser to its board of directors.

Kaiser brings more than three decades of executive-level leadership to the board at a time when RBC Life Sciences is focusing on aggressive domestic and international expansion. Comprised of an advanced wound care and pain management products subsidiary and a nutritional supplements subsidiary, RBC Life Sciences grew nearly 25 percent in 2007.

RBC Life Sciences Reports 18 Percent Higher Revenues in the First Quarter of 2008

RBC Life Sciences, Inc. today announced that net sales for the first quarter ended March 31, 2008, increased 18 percent to $6.35 million, compared to net sales of $5.39 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007. The Company's net earnings for the first quarter of 2008 improved 9 percent to $355,000, or $0.02 per share, compared to net earnings of $325,000, or $0.02 per share, in the first quarter of 2007. Diluted shares outstanding for the 2008 quarter were 22,573,000, compared to 21,557,000 for the first quarter of 2007.

"We are pleased with RBC's continued growth in the first quarter," said Clinton Howard, Chairman and CEO. "Our Nutritional Products segment grew more than 14% compared to last year's first quarter, due primarily to an increase in revenues from our international licensees. Our Medical Products group showed 32% growth quarter over quarter, due to an increase in the customer base for our wound care products and increased sales to our largest customer in this segment. We look forward to continued growth from each of our segments in 2008."

RBC Life Sciences Announces MPM Medical Partnership with Kroger

RBC Life Sciences announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, MPM Medical, Inc., has entered into a new partnership with The Kroger Co., one of the nation’s largest grocery retailers. Through the new partnership, Kroger and MPM have agreed to work together to make MPM’s oncology products available to cancer patients.

Beginning March 1, 2008, Kroger will be placing in each of its 1,900 Kroger and affiliated company pharmacies two of MPM’s top oncology products: RadiaPlex Rx®, a hydrogel designed to protect a patient’s skin from radiation reactions and to assist in healing the skin if dermatitis occurs, and Regenecare HA®, a hydrogel containing lidocaine, collagen, aloe vera and hyaluronic acid to relieve pain and itching caused by chemotherapy drugs.

RBC Life Sciences Names John W. Price President

RBC Life Sciences Reports Significant Increase in Sales and Earnings

"RBC Life Sciences, Inc. today reported a 45 percent increase in net sales to $7,857,000 in the third quarter of 2007, compared to net sales of $5,405,000 in the same period last year. The Company's net earnings increased more than 700 percent in the third quarter of 2007 to $672,000, or $0.03 per share, compared to net earnings of $80,000, or $0.00 per share, in the 2006 third quarter.

RBC's net sales for the first nine months of 2007 increased 24 percent to $20,397,000 compared to net sales of $16,416,000 in the same period last year. For this nine-month period, the Company's net earnings increased more than 300 percent to $1,507,000, or $0.07 per share, compared to net earnings of $335,000, or $0.01 per share, in the same period last year.

Clinton Howard, Chairman and CEO of RBC Life Sciences, said, 'The significant increase in net earnings this year has resulted from strong sales growth in both our nutritional supplements segment and our medical products segment. The growth of our international nutritional supplement sales under license agreements has been particularly strong.
