Herbalife appoints Gaba as director

"Herbalife Ltd. has appointed Hal Gaba to its board of directors, filling a vacancy created by Peter Maslen's resignation from the company's board, Herbalife said Monday.

Gaba has been CEO and co-owner of Act III Communications since 1990, and serves as co-chairman of Village Roadshow Pictures, a co-production and co-financing partner of Warner Bros. and other studios, according to a release. He is also chairman of Concord Music Group and a board member of Hear Music, The Curtis School, and a former member of the board of Univision Communications Corp. He is a member of the National Association of Recording Arts & Sciences and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, according to a release."
